Tracking Systems#
For enhanced localisation and stunning realism, you can integrate SPACE HUB with different Tracking systems. This integration lets you link the movement of objects with the audio source, automatically moving sounds according to their position on stage. Sound can track and follow actors or speakers for a stunning level of immersion. SPACE HUB Control offers native plug & play integration with Stagetracker & zactrack systems, as well as all other systems capable of sending position data in either PSN or RTTrPM format.
Tracker control for an Object can be enabled on the Control page in the Objects Tab. Since the Tracking systems send position data continuously once connected and thus overwrite all other control inputs, Tracker control can not be combined with other control inputs like Plugins or Snapshots. Depending on the Tracking system, additional parameters are available, like automatically muting / unmuting Objects that exit / enter zones, when combining SPACE HUB with zactrack.
The Tracker Tab on the Control page allows you to select the Tracking system that you would like to connect to. For some fixed protocols like PSN, no additional network settings need to be adjusted for the systems to connect to each other. Other systems allow flexible IP address and Port settings, which need to be set in SPACE HUB Control to establish the connection. Both the computer running SPACE HUB Control as well as the Core of the Tracking system have to be in the same network with suitable IP address ranges and Subnet Masks to allow communication between them.
